The Continuum (Bandag Tread)
is prepared by stripping of the layer of protection cloth on the underside of the tread. Any rough places that are found are smoothed out with an air tool. The underside, top and bottom edges of the tread are painted with another layer of rubber cement which insures complete adhesion of tread.
Measuring for precision
Your casing is measured and marked off, according to size and type of tire. Next we apply the tread to your casing. Once application of your tread is complete your tire is rolled once more, under around 50lbs of pressure which insures complete adhesion of tread to casing....
Filling and Sealing
The next part of the process is to fill in the seams and edges of your tire with the Extruder Gun. And finally your tire is sealed of with a layer of cushion gum around the sidewall then moved to our state of the art Envelope system in preparation for the curing process.
