At RDH Tire we have the difficult task of deciding if the tire, after its life cycle, has to be " rejected ", "retreaded" and/or "repaired".
We have to verify that when we "retread or repair " a tire that the tire guarantees the performance of a new one.
TAP RAP repairs provide a good solution for the repaired area of the tire to perform under all operational conditions, thanks to it's structure.
The structure of the tire is constituted essentially by:
- Two flexible and elastic sidewalls;
- The belt (crown) semirigid formed by layers superimposed of metallic ropes;
- Two inclusive edges between the side and the belt (crown);
Our TAP RAP repairs are different from a conventional repair in that we incorporate modified bias angles between plies to provide greater flexibility and elasticity.
